After losing by a 2-0 score against the current Liga MX champion, Atlas, Emilio Azcárraga knows that Club América needs a change in order to become the contender they are supposed to be, something that increases the pressure in Santiago Solari.

So far, Club América has only one point as a result of a tie against Club Puebla on a game that was a complete disaster for Las Águilas, as Roger Martínez and Santiago Solari both were sent off in the first half of the game. If the bad streak continues, Club América already has a substitute for Solari.
Emilio Azcárraga would consider replacing the Argentinian with a coach that has more experience in Liga MX, someone as Ricardo “Tuca” Ferreti, who currently coaches Juárez FC, although the depth and quality in Club América’s roster would help convince “Tuca” to join Las Águilas

Solari left Real Madrid after the 2018-19 La Liga Season and joined Club América in 2021, for the start of Clausura 2021. He currently is starting his third tournament in Las Águilas bench and so far, he’s coached 45 games, winning 25 of them, tying 10 more and losing the remainder 10.
