During the current transfer window, MLS has sent multiple players to top-15 European leagues, manifesting how much their Academies have progressed in developing young promising players, something in which Liga MX has fallen behind.

But according to reports, a young promising Mexican player has caught the eye of La Liga side Cádiz FC, and they already asked about what would take for them to acquire Jeremy Márquez out of current Liga MX champion, Atlas FC.
The 21-year-old has taken Liga MX by surprise after his debut with Los Zorros for Clausura 2020, in a game where he also scored his first goal in a top flight league. So far, Cádiz has only shown interest, as there’s no ongoing conversation for his transfer to La Liga, but could begin soon.

The 21-year-old midfielder was an essential piece for Atlas in their pursue for Liga MX championship, breaking a 70-year streak without a title. So far, he’s played 60 games for Los Zorros, scoring on two occasions and assisting one time. His market value is set at $4.5 million.
