América recently signed two new signings for the tournament, Alejandro Zendejas and Jorge Meré. The player who arrives from Necaxa is expected to make his debut for the match, although he is unlikely to be a starter. Meanwhile, the Spanish player Jorge Meré is unlikely to play in the match due to his recent arrival to Mexico from Germany. The former Cologne player is expected to make his debut after international duty.
