America to play Manchester City in the United States, when will tickets be available?

America will play against Manchester City next July 20 in the United States, as part of the Lones Star CUP. Both teams confirmed their match, to be played at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

America will be put to the test on July 20, when the Águilas take on Manchester City, the new leaders of the English Premier League, in a warm-up match. The team coached by Pep Guardiola returns to touring the United States after the coronavirus pandemic prevented them from traveling around the globe.

When will tickets be available?

According to a press release, fans will be able to purchase their tickets starting April 28.

"Facing an opponent like Manchester City is always an exciting opportunity and we are very grateful for the invitation. The upcoming match on July 20 is an incredible opportunity for fans in the UK and abroad to learn more about Mexican soccer and of course, this represents an incredible opportunity for Americans to see their favorite team play against an elite opponent," said Santiago Baños." 

"We are excited to return to the United States for this summer's preseason trip, our first since before COVID. Our players and coaches are eager to once again play in person in front of our U.S. fans, who have shown us great support and passion," said Omar Berrada, director of soccer operations for City Football Group. 

América is in good momentum in Liga MX, where it has six consecutive wins and is aiming for a direct ticket to the Liguilla under interim coach Fernando Ortiz.
