According to reports from ESPN, now that Matías Almeyda signed with AEK Athens, he wants to bring with him “Chofis” López, one of his most trusted players, on his new adventure in Europe, opening the door to a new Mexican to play in Europe.

The 27-year-old is on his last year of contract with Chivas, as it expires in December, although he’s been playing at San José Earthquakes on a loan for the past year.
