According to reports from El Salvador, former América and Chivas player, Oribe Peralta, is set to move from Liga MX and is close to sign a contract with Alianza FC, who is currently standing first in the Salvadorian league.

But his signing with Alianza FC will put him far from what he was used to in the Mexican league, as there’s less luxuries and a different soccer level that he will have to face once he joins his new club in San Salvador.
Another problem he’ll find is the difference on the salary he could receive. He once was one of the players in the continent with the best salary, as he used to make $2.5 million per year when he played for América.

If the contract he signs with Alianza FC is close to what other Mexican players are making in Central America, such as Carlos “Gullit” Peña, he’ll be earning around $6,000 per month, way lower than what he used to win with Chivas, where his salary was if $1.3 million per year.
