Earlier today, Chivas announced an alliance with Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven for the next two years in which they’ll share practice you the development of young players, as well as having an exchange of academy players and coaches.

Chivas and PSV sign a two-year alliance to promote players
The alliance will help young promising players to try their luck in Europe in a more direct way, as PSV usually gives youngsters the opportunity to display their talents in a top flight league, and then sell them to other leagues.
But this alliance will also open the question: will Chivas finally signa non-Mexican player? Chivas could be targeting one of PSV young players that could be the next superstar, as currently in Eindhoven plays Richard Ledezma, a Mexican American that could be part of El Rebaño and would also open the door to a possible addition to El Tri.

Chivas has signed Mexican American players in the past, which wouldn’t break the essence of what Chivas is. Ledezma was born in the US on a Mexican household and currently plays for PSV U-20 squad, although he’s had minutes with the senior team.
