The Spanish winger is now 17 years old and had an incredible season with FC Barcelona and a great campaign with Spain at the EUROS this summer. Some fans believe that Yamal is destined to shine at such a young age and let the world know that he is the next big superstar in football because of a famous picture of him as a baby being carried by a young Lionel Messi. The picture has surfaced online, and Yamal’s father confirmed that the picture was real. The young Spanish winger spoke about the popular picture and said, “At the time of the photo with Messi, I was not aware, obviously. My father had it saved, and we never brought it to light basically because of the issue of comparisons, which are never good."

Those pictures where part of a charity calendar promoted by newspaper Diario Sport, which later UNICEF did a raffle. Messi participated in a photoshoot for a charity calender which included water and a baby. The Barca player was already a star at the club, but little did anyone know that the baby would also become a star.

Yamal then became a star at EURO 2024. He provided an assist in his first match of the European Championships. The Spanish winger has also created the most chances out of any player and is one of the best players in the tournament.
