The Spanish national team won the European Championship last week, and now the players from the squad are enjoying their deserved vacation. One of the best players in the squad is the 17-year-old Lamine Yamal. The Spanish squad did not have high expectations ahead of EURO 2024, but that didn't matter as they won all seven of their matches in the competition. Yamal was one of the players that helped Spain succeed in the tournament, and after a long season with FC Barcelona, he also got his time off.

Yamal appeared to be in Greece in a nice boat in the sea. The young Spanish winger was relaxing in the boat and taking pictures of the vacation he had taken. After the EUROS win last week, Yamal visited the FC Barcelona camp, which is training for the preseason. The Spanish winger then went on to take a vacation in Greece.

Yamal is expected to take a three-week vacation since he will not play in the preseason tour that FC Barcelona will have, which begins in a week. Hansi Flick, the new manager of Barça, has not yet coached Yamal and other key players like Pedri and Ferran Torres, who were at the EUROS as well.

Lamine Yamal not only played at the EUROS for Spain at 16 years old but also started in six out of seven matches in the tournament. He scored a goal against France in the semifinals of the competition. He provided four assists throughout the tournament and had the most assists out of any player in the EUROS. He was the youngest player to play an EURO and the youngest to score and assist in the history of the European Championship.

Yamal was also included in the EURO 2024 Team of the Tournament. Spain had six players on the team who were recognized as the best players this summer. Nico Williams, Dani Olmo, Rodri, Fabian Ruiz, and Marc Cucurella were part of the team as well. Yamal's performances have convinced FC Barcelona even more that they will count on him for the upcoming season to compete for trophies.

Lamine Yamal's first full season with FC Barcelona

Yamal made his professional debut at 15 in the 22/23 season, but he started to play more this past season. He played 50 matches across all competitions for FC Barcelona this past season. His total goal contributions were 17, as he scored seven and provided ten assists. He played in La Liga, the Champions League, the Spanish Super Cup, and the Copa Del Rey.
