Luis Suárez has become one of the top strikers in the world in the las 15 years, and even though he’s turning 35 this month, he still is able to play on one of the most competitive leagues in the world, such as La Liga. And with only 6 months left on his contract, everyone thought he was moving to MLS to end his career.

But now, a Premier League team that is going through a rebuilding process, started conversations with the Uruguayan striker who won’t be back with Atlético Madrid for the next season, and could join Aston Villa and Steven Gerrard, his former teammate back in Liverpool.
Suárez already rejected two offers from Brazilian soccer as he wishes to join Gerrard and having a last stint in Premier League, where he was successful in his time with the Reds. Gerrard and company could also pursue the acquisition of Héctor Herrera, with whom Suárez has said he feels comfortable playing, to reassure the Charrúa become a Villan next season.

Herrera also has six more months of contract with Atlético Madrid, where he hasn’t been taken in consideration by Diego “Cholo” Simeone. The Mexican midfielder is also looking to leave Madrid and his arrival in Aston Villa seems plausible if it’s to make Suárez feel more comfortable in the pitch,
