It’s no wonder that Guillermo Ochoa is one of, if not the most known goalkeeper Mexico and CONCACAF currently have, and although he hasn’t played for the most renowned teams in the world, he’s been reliable under the goal for any team he’s played for.

But a few years ago, another CONCACAF goalkeeper said he was the best goalkeeper of the conference, even over Ochoa. The 35-year-old Costa Rican goalkeeper, Keylor Navas, claimed that no other goalkeeper from CONCACAF was near the level he had.
But now karma got him, not only because the Ticos have questioned him over and over again for refusing to play for his National Team, but now he can’t prove he’s the better goalkeeper as his going to be out of the pitches for a while after testing positive for Covid.

After arriving in La Liga in 2010 to play for Albacete, Navas has established himself in European soccer, playing for five years for Real Madrid and currently defending PSG’s goal, that why his market value is set at $11.5 million, a $9.5 million difference with the market value of Guillermo Ochoa.
