With each passing day, the phrase that says Christian Pulisic is called to be the best American player of all time is further confirmed. This Saturday, he entered history by winning the Champions League with Chelsea, being the first player from his country to have minutes in a final and the second in history to do so. Pulisic entered the team coached by Thomas Tuchel in the second half and had the chance to score a goal, but his shot went just wide of the goal defended by Emerson.
Pulisic has conquered the Champions League, and most importantly, he officially becomes the second player from the United States to win the trophy, something that has not happened for 24 years, specifically since the 1996-97 season with Borussia Dortmund.
The first American Union player to have conquered La Orejona was Macedonian striker Jovan Kirovski, who although he did not play in the final, unlike Wonder Boy, played two games this season, in the group stage.
Christian Pulisic, in addition to the Champions League won this Saturday with Chelsea, won a German Cup with Borussia Dortmund. In the formative divisions, he has three titles with the same German team.
