Chivas didn’t complete a very good regular season. The Rebaño Sagrado, as the club is commonly known, didn’t make it to the top four in the tournament Guard1nes, which was their objective, and will have to play the next round of the competition to try to be champions.
But, despite the results, Chivas have also many undisciplined problems from their players and are trying to make a competitive team for the next season. Head coach Víctor Vucetich and sport adviser Ricardo Peláez are both trying to form a top team on Liga MX next season.
The reinforcement that Chivas want to sing is Alan Mozo, the right defender who plays for Pumas. The Universitarios could make a barter with Pumas and let Mozo out to sign Alejandro Mayorga and gain $2 million dollars as well. That is the barter reported by Mexican press so far, even though the clubs are still negotiating and things may change.
Both players are aged 23, but Mozo has a higher value than Mayorga, as reported by specialized website Transfermarkt. Mayorga should be going back to Chivas, as he is in a loan at Pumas that ends on December, and as the club is interested on continue counting on him, they may make the barter.
