Were Real Madrid and Zidane really the problem for Gareth Bale?

Again off the court due to injury, he was more interested in the cell phone than in supporting his teammates while Tottemham faced Chelsea.

The disinterest on the part of Bale towards his team and his teammates could be seen at Real Madrid, where his fight with Coach Zinedine Zidane was known. Now at Tottenham he was supposed to be happy and go back to enjoying playing football. Unfortunately it is looking the same as a few months ago.

During the Carabao Cup match against Chelsea, an image that was repeated throughout the last months of Gareth Bale could be observed: the sitting on the substitute bench or in the tribune using the cell phone. This image shows the little interest the striker has in the game while his team is playing and this can cause annoyance within the squad. During his last period in Madrid, the only thing that was said about him was his controversial attitude, and it seems that he has not changed it.

Mourinho, the coach of Totemham, has said that he will not play only to be Bale but that he will play because he will show that he is the best. At the moment the level of the Welsh player could not be appreciated as he was injured again. Nobody doubts about  his quality as a player but lately he has been more eager to play golf or do another activity than to be that star forward that he was used to be. Both Tottenham and Wales need him to return to a high level in order to aspire to win matches and therefore trophies.
