The reasons why Ricardo Ferretti is not willing to re-sign his contract with Tigres UANL

Ricardo 'Tuca' Ferretti is receiving a lot of criticism from the fans for his way of expressing himself with the team. Also, fans are unhappy because, as for today, Tigres isn't qualifying directly to quarterfinals. Not only they are they demanding Tigres to beat America in the next game but they are also they are demanding the reinstatement of a player.

Last Saturday's tie against Juarez was the sixth consecutive week that Ricardo Ferretti did not summon Luis Quiñones. The striker has no injuries and isn't infected with Covid-19. The reason for Ferretti's decision is that in the game against Leon, on September 9, Quiñones was substituted after 60 minutes of play and reacted badly.

The fans are demanding that Ferretti lift the ban on Quiñones and include him back in the team as he is one of their best forwards and they need him as soon as possible. The 29-year-old forward's contract ends in December 2020 and everything would indicate that if Ferretti continues to coach Tigres, Quiñones will not be part of the club next year.

Luis Quiñones came to Tigres in the 2016-2017 season and in 27 games he scored 3 goals and gave 2 assists. In 2018, he went on loan to Toluca FC and in 2019 he returned to Tigres.
