Pelé is one of the most famous and talented soccer players ever. For many, he is even better than Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona or Cristiano Ronaldo. The Brazilian attacker achieved something that never did on the past: winning three World Cup titles (1958, 1962 and 1970).
Now it is talked that he could be paid a tribute in Brazil that would last life-time and that could transform him into a more millionaire person, due to the fame it would give to him. The homage would be made in Sao Paulo, where Pelé was born and live.
Authorities are thinking on changing the name of Maracaná mythical stadium and replace it with the one of Pelé. Similar tributes were made to Maradona, on Napoli and Argentinos Juniors stadiums, and could be made in the future to Messi, as FC Barcelona has the intention.

Pelé gained many important titles in Maracaná stadium, that is the most emblematic one from Brazil. At his 80 years old he is not going through the best moment of his life, as he is isolated in his country due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a professional player he played from 1957 to 1975 for Santos FC and then for New York Cosmos.
