As Floyd Mayweather nowadays, Brazilian legend Pele was once the owner of an impressive car collection. The historical attacker also liked cars and was had some of the best ones in his time. But after so many years from that time, he had to discard most of them after having a problem.
The first car of Pele arrived with his first World Cup title, when he was just 18 years old. He received a Volkswagen Beetle as a prize for the good moment that he was having in his first years at Santos FC. But the years passed and the vehicles received started to get better for him.
Pele received a BMW in Brazil later and an Aero Willys 2.600 during the 1960s. Having the best cars of the epoch was normal for him, and a couple of years later he started driving some top vehicles. Mercedes-Benz gave him a Mercedes-Benz 250 W114, and then a 280-S. During all of his career, he was used to receiving some of the best cars of his times.
But at the age of 80, Pele is now living a different reality. The Brazilian idol can’t drive longer distances any more due to his advanced age, and can’t enjoy all the cars he received during his life. He decided to discard them to evite suffering and just travels from one place to another with his driver.
