Endrick was not able to get enough minutes in Copa America with the Brazilian national team this summer after being knocked out of the competition in the quarterfinals against Uruguay. After 90 minutes played, the game finished 0-0, and in a penalty shootout, Uruguay won 4-2. Endrick started in the match against Uruguay but struggled to make an impact. Despite this, he looks forward to playing with Real Madrid next season, as he will be presented as their new player in a few weeks. Before he fully said goodbye to the Copa America, he met one of FC Barcelona's greatest strikers of all time after the match against Uruguay. Endrick met FC Barcelona legend Luis Suarez, and even though he was about to represent Real Madrid, he still swapped shirts with the Barca legend, who did not get any minutes in the Brazil vs Uruguay match. The two shared a great moment and hugged after the shirt swap; even Suarez knows that Endrick will be special.

Endrick played in all of Brazil's matches in the Copa America, but the only game he started was in the Uruguay match, where he played the entire game but did not take part in the penalty shootout. In the first match for Brazil in the competition, the game ended 0-0. Endrick played 19 minutes as he came on in the 71st minute. In the 4-1 win against Paraguay, Endrick came on in the 79th minute, but he couldn't grab a goal as well.

Endrick came on in the 86th minute of the match against Colombia, which finished 1-1. He played the least amount of minutes for Brazil in the Copa America against Colombia. Due to Brazil's elimination, Endrick will be able to play for Real Madrid on the US tour, which is set to start in late July.

Endrick's presentation with Real Madrid

Endrick will turn 18 on July 21st, and he will be presented with Real Madrid on July 26th at the Santiago Bernabeu. This will be ten days after the presentation of Kylian Mbappé, who is set to have a big presentation at the Santiago Bernabeu as well.
