The Aztec squad will try to get the victory this time, which is why they already started preparing for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, as they have planned four friendly games from May 28 to August 30, as well as two games from the CONCACAF Nations League.
Gerardo “Tata” Martino already revealed the 36-en list that will play five of those encounters in the upcoming month, as he’s trying to fill six spots in the final roster that will play in the World Cup, as reports from David Medrano inform that he already has decided 20 of the players.
Among those players, Guillermo Ochoa is the only one that has ensured his presence in the starting XI of El Tri against Poland, as the Club América captain has been the starting goalkeeper since the 2014 FIFA World Cup, although his place might be in the air that a new Mexican goalkeeper is moving to Europe.
According to reports from Jóvenes Futbolistas MX, one of the Mexican players that has more potential for the next 15 years is David Ochoa, goalkeeper of MLS side Real Salt Lake that will be on the move over the summer.

Ochoa has six months left on his contract, which makes the summer transfer window the perfect opportunity for the Royals to sell him, and according to the source, he’s followed by several European teams as well as a couple of Liga MX clubs.
The interest starts in Premier League, as West Ham United has been the most active team pursuing his addition, although Fulham FC and Bournemouth are also interested in him. Cádiz FC, Real Sociedad, and Atlético Madrid in Spain are also looking to sign him, as well as Belgian side KV Kortrijk. From Liga MX, CD Toluca, Club Querétaro and Atlético San Luis are interested in him too.
