Chivas disappointed once again after the scoreless draw in the Clásico Nacional, as they couldn’t beat the worst version of Club América in years, confirming that, although they’re not in a crisis as deep as the one Las Águilas are, they’re also far from what is expected of them.

There’s another reason for which José Juan Macías returned to Chivas

El Rebaño followers have been dissatisfied with Chivas performances for a while, especially since Amaury Vergara sacked José Manuel Vucetich to impose his friend Marcelo Michel Leaño as their coach, given that Chivas players look lost every time they’re on the pitch.

Although they were expecting an easy win against Club América, and possibly the start of a winning streak after that, when the game ended, they corroborated that as long as Michel Leaño is coaching Chivas, they won’t be contenders.

The people in the stands started chanting “Fuera Leaño” as they are tired of the bad results and the weak performances, and even if the sound of the stadium tried to silence them, it’s obvious the discontent that the Nación Chiva are feeling now.

Will Leaño leave Chivas?

It’s yet to be seen when Amaury Vergara will take the decision of parting ways with the Mexican coach, as Michel Leaño hasn’t been self-conscious and won’t resign to his job, as he said during the press conference that he’s already thinking of next week’s match against Atlas.

But according to reports, Vergara has already started looking for replacements, as he knows that even if he promised Michel Leaño to give him at least a full tournament in Chivas bench, maintaining him is unsustainable with the current results.

Who is the coach that could replace Michel Leaño?

Ramón Morales is already in conversations with Amaury Vergara and Ricardo Peláez, as he was seen in multiple meetings this past week in Chivas facilities, which could mean that they’re getting ready to have a change in El Rebaño’s bench.

What Chivas are currently looking, thanks to Ricardo Peláez advise, is someone that can connect with the people in the stands as the support of their followers is something they desperately need, given that they haven’t been able to do it with Marcelo Michel Leaño.
