America reached the final of the Concachampions, by beating Philadelphia, of the Major League Soccer, as a visitor, by 2 to 0. After having won by the same score at home in the first leg, they will now settle the title with the winner of the other semifinal between his compatriots Cruz Azul and Monterrey.

The first half showed the Philadelphia team determined to beat America. With a game of direct attacks with numerical superiority in the area where long shipments were going to go, with vertical runs of their players and, above all, resorting to systematic fouls to compensate in defensive transitions.

At halftime they already had 5 yellow cards and 16 fouls charged (it is the average number of any team in a whole game). America was trying to play one or two touches to be able to skip the suffocating pressure of the United States team.

At halftime Solari took Córdova out, his only player booked. You had to keep an eleven on a clean court. At 78 minutes of game, Benedetti opened the scoring, who had entered at halftime for Córdova. From that moment on, America found some counter spaces; although he suffered with crossed centers. Henry Martin sentenced the game with a goal in the 93rd minute to the center of Laínez.

Who will be America's rival in the final?

America waits for the winner of the key of the match between Cruz Azul and Monterrey. The team led by Aguirre has a 1-0 advantage achieved in the first leg over "La Maquina". This meeting is scheduled for today at 10:00 p.m. local hour,  at the Azteca stadium. The final will be a single match the last week of October, and the venue will be Cruz Azul or Monterrey (the one that passes) because either of them has a better performance in the previous phase of Concachampions than America.
