Chivas de Guadalajara lost 3-0 on the last date against Leon. Vucetich's team had a bad start to the Apertura 2021 and their fans called for the coach's departure. Here are the candidates to replace him,.

Chivas de Guadalajara are coming off a 3-0 loss to Leon and have only five points out of a possible 15 at the start of the Apertura 2021.
The red and white team has one win, two ties and two defeats, and is in twelfth place.

In addition, in the last 3-0 home defeat, Chivas fans have shown their dissatisfaction with the team, which has not been able to show a good face. This provoked Cristian Calderón to have a cross of words with a group of fans who insultingly complained to the players about their lack of intensity in the matches.

Given the lack of results of one of the teams with the greatest tradition and fans in Mexico, its people asked for the departure of coach Victor Vucetich and here are the candidates to replace him.

Candidates to replace Vucetich

Jaime Lozano

The Mexican can come from winning a bronze medal and his potential is clear. He will not lack offers, since he has announced that he will not continue in the National Team.  Lozano had some of the members of the Chivas in his National Team and that could motivate him. The idea is to put together a long term plan and for the Chivas of Guadalajara to return to being the great team that people remember.

Matias Almeyda

Matias Almeyda lived one of the best periods of his coaching career in Guadalajara, winning titles and gaining recognition. Chivas knows that the coach is at ease in the San Jose Earthquakes of the MLS, having to reach an economic agreement to pay his clause. It would be a costly operation, but they do not rule it out for now.

Diego Alonso

Diego Alonso had good jobs with Pachuca and Monterrey. The Uruguayan coach has been close to Chivas several times but it never materialized. He is currently without a team, which would facilitate a possible future arrangement.

Pedro Caixinha

The Portuguese coach is currently without a club. He previously managed to qualify Santos Laguna to the semifinals of the Clausura 2013 and reached the final of the Concacaf Champions League 2012-13 losing it against Club de Fútbol Monterrey.
He achieved his first title with the team on November 4, 2014, when Santos defeated Puebla on penalties in the final of the Copa México Apertura 2014. On December 5, 2017, he was announced as coach of the Cruz Azul team Prior to the start of the 2019 Apertura Tournament he manages to take the SuperCopa MX.

Antonio Mohamed

The coach is another of those who is available and has ample experience in Mexican soccer. He was coach of Veracruz, Zapatepec, Morelia, Queretaro, Chiapas and won titles with Tijuana, America and Monterrey. His extensive experience makes him a candidate to be the future coach of Chivas.
