Manchester City are already planning for the future of the club as they want to sign the next stars for the next decade. Senior players like Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Ederson, and more are set to leave the club soon, but the fans are excited to see the next generation of players that will soon play for them. One of the talented young players that will play for the next decade is Claudio Echeverri. Manchester City announced the signing of Echeverri earlier this year, but the Argentine youngster is currently playing for River Plate in Argentina on a one-year loan. He is already 18 years old, but he will make his debut for Man City this upcoming season. He is still playing for River Plate in Argentina and will not be with the Man City team this summer, which is ahead of the next season. On Man City's announcement, they revealed the date when he'd play. It read, "Claudio has signed a contract until June 2028 but will remain at River before moving to the Etihad Stadium in January next year.

Echeverri will be busy this summer, but now with River Plate. He will be playing in the Summer Olympics in Paris with the U-23 Argentina national team. The attacking midfielder is called up by the coach of the U-23 Argentina team, Javier Mascherano. The football tournament at the Summer Olympics starts from July 24th until August 10th. Argentina's group includes Morocco, Iraq, and Ukraine.

The Argentine attacking midfielder will be playing with his soon-to-be teammate, Julian Alvarez, in Manchester City. The Man City striker is also called up to the Olympics as one of the three senior players in the squad. This makes Pep Guardiola and Man City happy as the two will already start linking up together before Echeverri arrives at the team next January.
