The Argentina national team won their second Copa America trophy under Lionel Scaloni last night. Argentina defeated Colombia 1-0 at the Hard Rock Stadium and they have now won their last three major international tournaments in a row, which makes this team historic.

The team have also won their 16th Copa America trophy, the most of any South American team in the history of this competition. The future may be without Lionel Messi but the fans are already willing to see a new set of players to take over the national team.

One name that fans want to see in the upcoming games for the national team is Claudio Echeverri, the attacking midfielder who is playing in River Plate thanks to a loan from Manchester City. They want Messi to prepare him for the 2026 World Cup.

The River Plate player is set to play for Manchester City in the Premier League next season in the second part of the season. Echeverri is called up for the U23 Argentina national team for the Summer Olympics in Paris but has yet to earn a call up to the senior national team. Claudio Echeverri’s next opponents

Echeverri was called up for the Summer Olympics, and the first match for the U23 Argentina team will be against Morocco U23 on July 24th. The second match of the group stage is against Iraq U23. The final group stage match is against Ukraine U23.

Echeverri already played for the U17 Argentina national team, and had a great World Cup. He scored a hat trick in the quarterfinals against Brazil. Because of his performances, Mascherano decided to take him to the Olympics, despite being one of the youngest of the squad.
